Create a profile with a passkey

Use Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, or your password manager. FAM stores no password, and your current guest saves are imported automatically.

No email recovery: choose a passkey provider you can access from another device. After creating the profile, register a second passkey for backup.

Use the provider that follows you

Your face, fingerprint, PIN, or password-manager unlock is not sent to FAM. It only authorizes your provider to use the passkey.

Apple

Save with Apple Passwords/iCloud Keychain. Face ID can unlock it on iPhone and Touch ID can unlock the synced passkey on Mac.

Save with Google Password Manager or your selected Android credential manager, then approve with your device screen lock.

Windows

Save on the device or in a synced credential manager. Windows Hello can approve with your face, fingerprint, or PIN.

Proton Pass

Select Proton Pass when the browser asks where to save. Its app or browser extension can make the passkey available on your other supported devices.

Choose Sign in with a passkey.
Select your synced password manager or the option to use another device.
If a QR code appears, scan it with the phone that has the passkey and approve there.
